Futsal Sport in Mind program delivers futsal and education in schools through a highly skilled and reliable workforce.
New support and guidance from the Education and learning/life long learning physical education (PESSPA)

minimum standards which will include:

– FA LEVEL 1 /2 Futsal COACHING AWARD

– FA Youth Award Module 1

    - DBS enhanced clearance 

 

– First Aid and Child Safeguarding Certificates

– Continuous Professional Development(CPD)

-Staff public liability insurance 10m

     - Class size based on qualification L2 Futsal  approx 22 students,      unsupervised sessions

     - Class for L1 qualification 22 students Keys stage 1/2 supervised sessions

 

 

We provide well trained coaches for the purpose of delivering high quality PE in schools. The coaches will work closely with teachers to plan, deliver and assess the lessons and ensure that the teacher gains valuable learning, skills and confidence during this process. This is all in preparation for the school PE curriculum and we work hard to ensure we can support schools to deliver this.

Curriculum Sport program

In line with this increased focus on quality and service, we will look to focus efforts to ensure that coaching and leadership can be provided to the very highest standards to both teaching staff and students.Each member of staff will be given our key stage 1/2/3 futsal curriculum program, each school will be attended once a week by one of our futsal coaches for period of one hour, delivering futsal to key stage two children. 

Regional Tournaments will be for students in key stage two (7-14yrs)students

We are providing inter school futsal tournaments.  These will take place once a term utilising the facilities from your local secondary, college or University .  The primary schools from within your cluster will compete to become the Regional Futsal Champion. The top three teams from the tournament you will then go to compete in the Annual Championship against the top 3 teams from another cluster of schools. These events are free to your school and will be officiated by our expert team of coaches.

School Program (Key stage 2/3) 

Our in school program has been designed to provide the most comprehensive student centred in school program available.  Within a term's course it will provide a structure to teach new skills, allow for independent learning and peer to peer coaching with the use of deliberate play in order to allow transfer of the skills.  The program provides lots and lots of opportunities for the children to be creative in an environment that is free to fail.

Sports Week and Sports Day- Key stage 2/3

We are here to support your school in any way we can and would be pleased to provide our services during your school sports week and sports days.  We could set up internal school futsal leagues for the week or provide each class year 45-60 mins group tasters.  As with all of our programmes this can be as flexible as you need us to be.
